Need help with Math?

Would you like some online help with your math homework? Through the DSBN’s Homework Help network, students can get free, real-time math tutoring by certified Ontario teachers. Two ways to get to the site are as follows:

  1. www.homeworkhelp.ilc.org and
  2. http://www.edu.gov.on.ca/elearning/homework.html and click on the blue underlined “homework help” on the second line.

You can log in from home, Sunday to Thursday, 5:30-9:30 p.m. for up to 20 hours a week of one-on-one confidential tutoring. The online tutoring is grade specific.  You will be able to ask your own specific questions and also see the questions other students are asking while watching the tutors explain the answers on their computer. This will all be done within the comfort of  your own home.

Other online math resources that will be available to registered students include videos of best tutorials, math games and a virtual locker, where students can save their chat sessions. These are available all day every day.
